| Thailand is in Southeast Asia surrounded by Burma, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. There are nearly 80 million people in Thailand and 95% of them are Buddhist. The north of Thailand is quite mountainous while the south is peninsula-like with lots of beaches. Vermont to Thailand goes to the Northeast (also known as "Isaan") near the Lao border.
